FLOWERS

I use locally grown flowers only, from the garden or foraged. I can make displays for events, ceremonies, rituals, shops, home.

For me, flowers are a form of communication.

I have learnt so much from Mexican, Brazilian and African traditions, as well as from my own creative intuitive studies of plants . I know how to work with flowers to create and align to a particular feeling, to bring and steer emotion, to influence the room and to heal and harmonise. I’ve learnt form, colour, and frequency can relate to function and entreinment. Plants bring a certain musicality. They deeply cleanse and transform the energy of a space. My most favourite way to create is for ceremony, for ritual and for bringing others into sincere reverence. Whether this is just in love with being, the calm that beauty brings, something to celebrate or to feel a direct link to life force and joy. I’ve witnessed many times a surrender with the encounter of flowers, and whatever heavy burdens we may be carrying get dissolved - and we feel peace from the beauty of that wild altar.
